Recorded in a friend's backyard on a humid summer night, this bootleg session strips everything back to a single guitar, an amp pushed just past clean, and whoever happened to be standing close enough to hear it. No overdubs, no safety net — just the raw take that made the room go quiet.

The Setup

A single 1x12 combo, mic'd close and run hot enough to break up on the downstrokes. No pedals beyond a boost for the solo sections — everything else came from pick attack and how hard the strings got hit.

The Take

Alex Rivera handled lead and rhythm across a loose forty-minute set, leaning into the imperfections that a studio would normally smooth out. It's the kind of performance that reminds you why the songs were written in the first place.
